Atlanta's breakout forward is on a short list of contenders for Sixth Man of the Year.

Atlanta Hawks guard Aaron Wiggins is emerging as a top contender for the NBA Sixth Man of the Year award, writes Antwane Willis for Soaring Down South. Through his first six games with Atlanta, the 27-year-old is averaging 15.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game off the bench, including a recent 20-point performance in an 114-111 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
According to FanDuel Sportsbook, Wiggins holds fourth-best odds at +1800 to win the award, behind Payton Pritchard (+230), Jared McCain (+650), and Jrue Holiday (+1300). Willis argues that Wiggins' chances of winning will significantly depend on whether the Hawks can consistently string together victories during an upcoming stretch against softer opposition.
