The Hawks listed Jalen Johnson as questionable for Friday’s Wizards rematch, while another frontcourt absence adds pressure to Atlanta’s rotation.

The Atlanta Hawks have listed forward Jalen Johnson as questionable with a left ankle sprain ahead of their NBA Cup game against the Washington Wizards. Johnson suffered the injury on October 31 against the New Orleans Pelicans and has missed Atlanta's last two games. His availability remains undecided for Friday's rematch at State Farm Arena.
Atlanta's frontcourt depth faces further strain, with Asa Newell officially ruled out due to a left great toe hyperextension. Newell joins sidelined players Jock Landale, Mouhamed Gueye, Henri Veesaar, and Keshon Gilbert on the injury report.
