The Atlanta Hawks announced they have signed former first-round pick Keon Johnson. While contract terms were not officially disclosed, the deal is likely an Exhibit 10 training camp contract, allowing the 24-year-old shooting guard to earn a bonus of up to $91,000 if he is waived and spends 60 days with the G League affiliate, the College Park Skyhawks.
Johnson was originally drafted 21st overall in 2021 and has played for the Clippers, Trail Blazers, and Nets across four NBA seasons. Most recently, he appeared in 15 G League games for the Maine Celtics, averaging 16.4 points and 5.3 rebounds. His addition leaves Atlanta with an open roster spot alongside 14 guaranteed deals.
