Atlanta Hawks president of basketball operations Onsi Saleh stated that the team prioritized increasing physicality during the 2026 offseason ahead of the 2026/27 campaign. Saleh highlighted the acquisition of defender Luguentz Dort, expressing confidence that his elite isolation defense and veteran presence will benefit teammates such as forward Jalen Johnson in practice.
