Bobby Webster: Raptors still have room for another major move

Toronto Raptors president of basketball operations Bobby Webster stated that the franchise maintains enough draft capital and financial flexibility to make another major acquisition. Earlier this month, Toronto acquired Kawhi Leonard from the Los Angeles Clippers in exchange for two first-round picks, two second-round picks, and a first-round pick swap.

Leonard signed a two-year, $115 million contract extension following the trade. Webster affirmed that the move will not prevent the Raptors from retaining RJ Barrett, while also sharing that center Jakob Poeltl is healthy and in good condition after missing significant time last season.
