The grass hasn't been greener for Mitchell Robinson, even if his jersey is.

Mitchell Robinson has endured a difficult start with the Boston Celtics after signing a three-year, $47.4 million contract in the offseason. Through six games, the former New York Knicks center is averaging 6.2 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 0.7 blocks, alongside a minus-42 rating when on the court. Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla acknowledged that expectations have not yet been met across the board.
According to The Boston Globe, speculation surfaced that Robinson reported to training camp in underwhelming physical condition, while Mazzulla noted schematic adjustments, such as positioning Robinson farther from the rim on offense. Despite Robinson's career-worst net metrics, Boston has opened the season with a 5-2 record.
