Health issues have the 31-year-old center considering retirement, according to ESPN.

Golden State Warriors center Kristaps Porzingis is seriously contemplating stepping away from the NBA for good due to recurring health issues, according to ESPN's Shams Charania. The 31-year-old continues to manage symptoms associated with the autoimmune disease POTS. In response to his uncertain status, the Warriors are reportedly exploring trade routes or a potential buyout if no breakthrough occurs regarding his health.
Porzingis signed a two-year, $40 million contract extension with Golden State over the summer, with only $3 million guaranteed for the following season. The former Boston Celtics champion has missed at least 35 games in each of the past three seasons, including 50 games last year, though he remained productive by averaging 16.7 points and 5.2 rebounds when available.
