Sam Hauser is among the lower-ceiling players on this Boston Celtics team, but he proved that a lower ceiling doesn't mean worse chemistry. In fact, because they know what they'll get from him, he might start on this team anyway!
Writer Matt John argues that Boston Celtics forward Sam Hauser made a strong case to secure the team's fifth starting spot following a preseason victory over the Philadelphia 76ers. Hauser shot 4-for-6 from the field, made three 3-pointers, and recorded a plus-27 plus/minus along with a net rating of plus-55.6.
John highlights Hauser's proven perimeter shooting, chemistry alongside Jayson Tatum, and defensive synergy with Paul George as reasons he could fit effectively into the starting lineup over Boston's developing younger wings.
