Brandon Miller and the Charlotte Hornets have agreed to a five-year, $209 million rookie-scale contract extension. The 23-year-old forward is coming off a career-best campaign in which he averaged 20.2 points and 4.9 rebounds across 65 appearances, helping Charlotte reach the play-in tournament.
Miller underwent shoulder surgery in May and has made a full recovery ahead of his fourth NBA season. With the Hornets having traded away LaMelo Ball and Miles Bridges, Miller is expected to assume a significantly larger role as a focal point of the franchise.
