DeMarcus Cousins Says Nikola Jokic Is The ‘Clear-Cut’ Greatest Offensive Center Ever

Former NBA center DeMarcus Cousins shared his perspective on Nikola Jokic's place in basketball history during an appearance on Gil's Arena. Cousins stated that while he currently ranks Jokic around seventh or eighth among all-time centers, he considers the Denver Nuggets star the clear-cut number one offensive center in NBA history. Cousins argued that Jokic needs another championship to break into his top-five centers list alongside legends like Shaquille O'Neal and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

Cousins, who previously played alongside Jokic on the Nuggets during the 2021-22 season, emphasized the importance of two-way impact and multiple championships when evaluating all-time rankings. Jokic, a three-time MVP, led the Nuggets to the 2023 NBA title and recorded a triple-double average during the 2025-26 campaign.
