The year 2026 has seen Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray hit great highs and depressing lows. Murray was named an All-Star for the first time in his career in 2026, but he also struggled massively as the Nuggets stunningly lost…
Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray addressed offseason trade speculation at media day, emphasizing his loyalty and focus on competing for a championship. Responding to team president Josh Kroenke's summer comment that only Nikola Jokic was untouchable, Murray stated he understands the business side of basketball. He expressed gratitude for entering his 11th season with Denver, the team that drafted him seventh overall in 2016.
Murray earned his first All-Star selection and an All-NBA Third Team nod in 2025-26, averaging 25.4 points per game. However, Denver suffered a disappointing first-round playoff exit against the Minnesota Timberwolves, where Murray struggled with his shooting efficiency. Fadeaway World notes that while Denver retained Murray, Aaron Gordon, and Cameron Johnson, the roster lost restricted free agent Peyton Watson to Cleveland.
