NBA legend Carmelo Anthony recalled a frightening vacation incident in the Bahamas where longtime friend LeBron James saved him from drowning. Anthony explained that while snorkeling near a grotto, a strong ocean current and undertow began pulling him away from their boat. Despite being able to swim, Anthony grew exhausted attempting to fight the current and called out for help.
James noticed Anthony's struggle, jumped into the water, and safely brought him back to the boat while fellow NBA star Dwyane Wade observed from nearby. Anthony praised James for his quick action and natural physical versatility, comparing him to Aquaman and describing him as an exceptional athlete who succeeds at everything.
