Everybody saw Jayson Tatum’s game-winner against the Nets. Some of the moments that meant the most to him were considerably less obvious. A cut. An explosive move. A familiar feeling that his body could do something it once did without…

Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum shared that he is beginning to feel like his pre-injury self 18 months after tearing his Achilles. Speaking after a 125-124 overtime victory against the Brooklyn Nets, Tatum explained that he is regaining the explosive movement and confidence he had prior to his injury.
Tatum led the Celtics to victory with 40 points in 42 minutes, marking his highest totals in both categories since returning. His performance was capped by a game-winning buzzer-beater in overtime, drawing praise from teammate Paul George, who called him the MVP.
