Charlotte Hornets forward Brandon Miller exited during the second quarter of Friday's game against the Boston Celtics with right groin soreness and was ruled out for the remainder of the contest. Miller recorded eight points and two rebounds across 14 minutes before leaving the game, adding to a severely depleted rotation for head coach Charles Lee.
Miller joins a growing list of sidelined players, including Kon Knueppel, Dennis Schröder, Moussa Diabaté, and Grant Williams. Knueppel re-aggravated a left hamstring strain in his season debut, while Diabaté remains out with right quad tendinopathy. To cover the mounting absences, Charlotte recalled rookies Hannes Steinbach and Christian Anderson Jr. to reinforce the active roster.
