A new report reveals rumors of Stephen Curry eventually playing for the Charlotte Hornets was never a realistic possibility.

A report indicates that Stephen Curry never seriously considered leaving the Golden State Warriors to sign with the Charlotte Hornets. Although fans harbored hopes of Curry joining his father Dell Curry's former franchise, Golden State head coach Steve Kerr revealed to NBC Sports that Curry explicitly prioritized keeping his family settled in the Bay Area and had no desire to leave.
Curry solidified his commitment by signing a new two-year contract extension with the Warriors, effectively ending free agency speculation. Jason Burgos notes that prioritizing family stability and finishing his career as a one-franchise player outweighed competitive factors for the veteran guard.
