Chicago Bulls rookie Caleb Wilson made his preseason debut on Wednesday, scoring 15 points in a 124-117 win against the Phoenix Suns. Selected No. 4 overall, Wilson expressed high confidence after the game, declaring ambitions to make strong visual impressions and pursue the NBA Rookie of the Year award.
Wilson finished with 6-of-15 shooting while noting defense remains an area of ongoing growth. Head coach Tiago Splitter praised Wilson's honesty and work ethic while noting the rookie still has much to improve. Teammates Norman Powell and Matas Buzelis also contributed 14 points each in the victory.
