Chicago Bulls second-year forward Noa Essengue has impressed team officials during training camp following a difficult stint in the 2026 NBA Summer League. Head coach Tiago Splitter publicly praised the 19-year-old's turnaround, highlighting his aggressiveness, rebounding, rim protection, and improved shooting while competing for a roster spot.
Essengue credited discussions with Splitter and executive vice president of basketball operations Bryson Graham for his improved approach. The forward noted that competing in practice against teammates Caleb Wilson and Matas Buzelis helped motivate him to play more freely on both ends of the floor.
