The Chicago Bulls have agreed to sign former lottery pick Jordan Hawkins to an open two-way contract, according to ESPN's Shams Charania. Hawkins was recently waived by the Memphis Grizzlies after being acquired from the New Orleans Pelicans in September. The former No. 14 overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft is coming off a season where he averaged 5.1 points in 51 games.
The deal reunites Hawkins with Bryson Graham, the Bulls' new executive vice president of basketball operations, who previously worked in New Orleans' front office when Hawkins was drafted. Under Graham and new head coach Tiago Splitter, Chicago has overhauled its roster ahead of the preseason opener against the Phoenix Suns.
