Chicago Bulls forward Matas Buzelis stated that the right ankle injury he suffered during Friday's preseason loss to the Memphis Grizzlies is not serious. According to Chicago Sports Network's K.C. Johnson, Buzelis confirmed his ankle is not bad and that he intends to travel and play against the Denver Nuggets, pending medical clearance.
Buzelis twisted his ankle during the game and exited in the second quarter after recording six points in 12 minutes of play. The Bulls, who lost 104-100 to Memphis, have listed Buzelis as day-to-day ahead of their matchup in Denver on Sunday.
