A Chicago Bulls jersey worn by Michael Jordan during Game 3 of the 1998 NBA Finals sold for $12.26 million on Tuesday. Sold via online auction house Joopiter, the white No. 23 jersey set a record as the most expensive piece of game-worn Jordan memorabilia ever sold at auction to an unidentified buyer.
Jordan wore the jersey during the Bulls' 96-54 win against the Utah Jazz, en route to Chicago's sixth NBA championship. The sale surpassed Jordan's previous auction record of $10.1 million, set in 2022 for his Game 1 jersey from the same Finals series.
