The Cleveland Cavaliers have signed G League standout Norchad Omier to a two-way deal to reinforce wing depth. To make room on the roster, the organization waived 26-year-old forward Riley Minix, who had originally joined the team on a two-way contract in February.
Omier previously agreed to join the Minnesota Timberwolves before changing course to sign with Cleveland. The 6-foot-7 forward joins two-way prospects Ernest Udeh Jr. and Tristan Enaruna, providing frontcourt athleticism as Cleveland navigates injuries ahead of upcoming weekend games against the Philadelphia 76ers and New York Knicks.
