The Cavaliers’ rebounding problems showed up again in their preseason opener, and Zach Weiss of Sports Illustrated believes the solution has to come from the entire roster.
Zach Weiss of Sports Illustrated argues that the Cleveland Cavaliers must address their recurring rebounding issues collectively across the entire roster. Following weaknesses shown in their preseason opener, Weiss emphasizes that rebounding responsibilities cannot rest solely on frontcourt starters Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen, with head coach Kenny Atkinson having already acknowledged the ongoing concern.
Weiss contends that backcourt contributors Donovan Mitchell and James Harden, along with wings and bench players such as Peyton Watson, Mario Hezonja, Craig Porter Jr., and Thomas Bryant, need to utilize their size and athleticism on the glass. The Cavaliers face another test against the Orlando Magic on Sunday at Rocket Arena.
