James Harden stated that he would "love" to play in Spain someday during the Cleveland Cavaliers' training camp in Málaga. Speaking to Spanish outlet Cadena SER following the team's first practice on Wednesday, the 37-year-old expressed fondness for the country's culture, weather, and food, while noting that his immediate focus remains winning an NBA championship with Cleveland.
Cavs head coach Kenny Atkinson explained that the overseas trip to Andalusia is designed to build team chemistry outside normal surroundings. Cleveland will conclude its Spanish camp with a public scrimmage at Martín Carpena Arena before opening the preseason against the Boston Celtics on October 8.
