"The nature of the meeting, I probably won't discuss much," James said of considering a Cavaliers return over the summer.

LeBron James revealed he considered rejoining the Cleveland Cavaliers before ultimately deciding to sign with the Philadelphia 76ers. Speaking after Philadelphia's 114-106 victory over Cleveland, James confirmed the Cavaliers were in strong consideration as he weighed the next step to finish his career. His decision came after weighing options with a franchise aiming to build toward an NBA championship.
The 76ers improved to 2-0 following a 29-point comeback against Cleveland, with James recording 17 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists. James previously spent 11 seasons across two separate stints with the Cavaliers, leading the franchise to an NBA title in 2016.
