The Cleveland Cavaliers suffered a 124-116 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder, marking their second consecutive defeat against Oklahoma City. Donovan Mitchell scored 17 of his 27 points during a late fourth-quarter surge, but his late offensive push proved insufficient to complete a comeback. Writer Corey Walsh selected James Harden as Cleveland's player of the game after he tallied 19 points, nine rebounds, and six assists.
Cavaliers center Jarrett Allen exited the contest after just seven minutes due to a lower leg injury suffered in a knee-to-knee collision. Head coach Kenny Atkinson did not provide an immediate postgame update on Allen's condition. Elsewhere on the roster, Evan Mobley recorded a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds, while reserve Mario Hezonja added 12 points and eight rebounds.
