Behind a theatrical 31 points from Stephen Curry late Friday night, the Golden State Warriors roared back for a 112-95 win over the Los Angeles Lakers.

Stephen Curry scored 31 points to lead the Golden State Warriors to a 112-95 comeback victory over the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday. Golden State overcame a 25-point deficit, becoming the first team in the past 30 seasons to trail by 25 points and win by at least 17. Brandin Podziemski contributed 21 points and six assists, while reserves Georges Niang and De'Anthony Melton combined for 27 bench points.
Lakers star Luka Doncic dominated early, finishing with 37 points after scoring 21 in the opening quarter. However, Curry sparked a massive turnaround, which included a signature third-quarter step-back 3-pointer that dropped Doncic to the floor. Warriors rookie Yaxel Lendeborg struggled with six points, five turnovers, and six fouls, but Golden State rallied to secure the historic win and improve to 3-3.
