The Dallas Mavericks confirmed their starting lineup against the San Antonio Spurs, with Cooper Flagg sidelined by a shoulder injury and Kyrie Irving out for knee injury management.

The Dallas Mavericks announced their starting lineup against the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday, October 24, ruling out both Cooper Flagg and Kyrie Irving. Flagg is sidelined with a mild left shoulder sprain sustained Friday against the Indiana Pacers, while Irving is resting for left knee injury management on the second night of a back-to-back. Head coach Dusty May started Max Christie, Naji Marshall, Zaccharie Risacher, P.J. Washington Jr., and Daniel Gafford.
Flagg suffered his injury after a hard fall on a fast-break foul by Aaron Nesmith, and an MRI confirmed the mild sprain with reevaluation scheduled for next week. Irving sat out as a workload precaution following his return from an ACL tear. Dallas was also without Dereck Lively II, Santi Aldama, Caleb Martin, and Tarik Biberovic.
