The Dallas Mavericks waived guards Seth Lundy and John Poulakidas on Saturday ahead of Monday's regular-season roster deadline. Lundy had joined Dallas on an Exhibit 10 contract, while Poulakidas held one of the franchise's two-way slots. The moves leave both players as free agents eligible to pursue new opportunities with other NBA teams, G League affiliates, or international clubs.
Following the cuts, Dallas has 18 total players under contract, including 16 on standard deals. The Mavericks must clear one more standard contract by Monday to meet the league's 15-player maximum, placing attention on veteran center Dwight Powell's partially guaranteed deal.
