Philadelphia 76ers forward Dominick Barlow met with a specialist on Tuesday to evaluate a lingering back injury that has kept him off the court this fall. Sixers head coach Nick Nurse reported on Wednesday that while Barlow still faces additional recovery time, the team remains confident that the forward's condition is improving.
Nurse estimated that Barlow requires another 10 to 12 days before he can be cleared for on-court basketball activities, pointing to an absence of at least two more weeks. Barlow has been diagnosed with a low back stress reaction, following an earlier diagnosis of a lumbar bone spine stress response.
