Dallas Mavericks forward Cooper Flagg briefly delayed the start of a press conference to finish ordering food on his phone, according to reporter Noah Weber. When asked what he had ordered, Flagg playfully declined to share specifics, calling it a "trap question" but reassuring reporters that the order consisted of "very healthy things."
The lighthearted moment comes amid strong early-season performances for Flagg on the court. Following a 29-point, 11-assist game against Miami, he recorded 26 points, eight assists, and five rebounds in the Mavericks' 120-96 victory over Oklahoma City.
