Dallas Mavericks guard Kyrie Irving has praised new teammate Zaccharie Risacher for his maturity, effort, and adaptability to a reserve role early in the season. Risacher, who was drafted first overall by the Atlanta Hawks in 2024 before being traded to Dallas, has averaged 9.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 1.7 assists across his first six games while serving as an effective bench option.
Irving commended Risacher's selfless transition to the bench and labeled him a superstar within his current role. The positive contribution from Risacher has helped head coach Dusty May's Mavericks squad establish a strong 4-2 start to the campaign.
