Cameron Johnson has moved closer to returning as the Nuggets prepare to face the Suns with several other players on the injury report.

The Denver Nuggets listed forward Cameron Johnson as questionable with a right ankle sprain ahead of their Friday matchup against the Phoenix Suns. Johnson suffered the injury in the October 22 season opener against the Oklahoma City Thunder and subsequently missed three consecutive games. Despite the questionable tag, an NBA.com fantasy update reports that Johnson is expected to play.
Johnson's potential return would bolster a depleted Nuggets perimeter rotation dealing with multiple absences. Spencer Jones has been ruled out due to bilateral hamstring injury management, Julian Strawther is out with a left knee sprain, and Alpha Diallo is listed as doubtful due to a right wrist sprain and personal reasons.
