The Nuggets were bad free-throw shooters in the preseason, and they've got to remedy that as the season moves forward.

Writer David Decker argues that the Denver Nuggets must address their preseason free-throw shooting struggles ahead of the regular season. The team ranked last among all 30 NBA teams during the preseason, converting just 67.5 percent of their 32 attempts per game.
Decker notes that rookie Trevon Brazile struggled by shooting 33.3 percent, while starters Nikola Jokic and Christian Braun converted 66.7 percent and 55.6 percent, respectively. The writer warns that missed free throws could prove costly in close, clutch games.
