Cade Cunningham scored 26 points and John Collins added 16 points and 11 rebounds as the Detroit Pistons defeated LeBron James and the Philadelphia 76ers 106-93 on Sunday night. The victory kept the Pistons unbeaten at 3-0 on the season, despite playing without starting center Jalen Duren, who is sidelined with a hamstring strain.
Detroit led wire-to-wire after beginning the game on a 15-1 run. The 76ers, missing Joel Embiid and VJ Edgecombe on the second night of a back-to-back, received 29 points from Tyrese Maxey and 18 from James but failed to fully erase a 21-point deficit.
