John Collins will be caught between positions again.

PistonPowered's Aaron Kellerstrass suggests that Detroit Pistons head coach JB Bickerstaff may need to switch the defensive roles of John Collins and Jalen Duren against the Miami Heat. Following a tough defensive showing in Detroit's opening-night win against Boston, Collins and Duren face a difficult frontcourt matchup against Bam Adebayo and Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Kellerstrass argues that Duren's strength is better suited to defend Giannis in the post, while Collins is more equipped to guard Adebayo on the perimeter. Offensively, the writer believes Collins must draw rim protectors away from the hoop, while Duren should look to attack the post to draw fouls.
