The Detroit Pistons visit the undefeated Philadelphia 76ers in an early-season matchup at Xfinity Mobile Arena. Both Jalen Duren and Ausar Thompson are ruled out for the Pistons, while Joel Embiid rests for Philadelphia. The game is set for 7:30 p.m. ET with the Pistons entering as 1.5-point underdogs. Detroit head coach J.B. Bickerstaff must determine his backup frontcourt rotation behind Reed, with John Collins and Tolu Smith serving as potential options.
