Former Lakers first-round pick Dalton Knecht has agreed to a two-way deal with the Knicks, his agents told ESPN's Shams Charania.

Former Los Angeles Lakers forward Dalton Knecht has agreed to sign a two-way deal with the New York Knicks. The signing comes just days after the 25-year-old was waived by Los Angeles, according to his agency, Excel Sports Management.
Knecht was drafted 17th overall by the Lakers in 2024, averaging 9.1 points per game as a rookie before seeing reduced playing time in his second season. The Cleveland Cavaliers, Sacramento Kings, and Minnesota Timberwolves also expressed interest in Knecht, whose arrival requires New York to waive an existing two-way player.
