NBA salaries have exploded over the past few seasons. Star players aren't the only ones earning massive paydays; even role players can take home significant salaries.
During the 2025-26 NBA season, multiple star players surpassed the $30 million annual salary mark, a sharp increase from a decade earlier when Kobe Bryant led the league at $25 million. Golden State Warriors guard Steph Curry led all earners for the season with a salary of $59,606,817, followed closely by Nikola Jokic and Joel Embiid, who each earned $55,224,526.
Other marquee players topping the threshold included Jayson Tatum, Jimmy Butler, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Anthony Davis, who each made $54,126,450. Kevin Durant made $53,282,608 with the Houston Rockets, while Karl-Anthony Towns and Devin Booker each earned $53,142,264 during the campaign.
