Klay Thompson Gives Honest Answer About Warriors Reunion

Miami Heat shooting guard Klay Thompson admitted he thinks "a little bit" about a potential reunion with the Golden State Warriors before concluding his career. Following a matchup against his former franchise, Thompson expressed immense gratitude for the ongoing support from Bay Area fans. Thompson currently plays for Miami after previously receiving a buyout from the Dallas Mavericks.

Writer Joey Haverford notes that Thompson's contract includes a player option that could allow him to reach free agency after this season. While a return to Golden State could involve taking a bench role and a modest contract, Haverford suggests Thompson's strong shooting form as a starter alongside Bam Adebayo and Giannis Antetokounmpo might instead prolong his interest in larger roles elsewhere.
