Stephen Curry Comments On Steve Kerr Holding Him More Accountable

Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry addressed head coach Steve Kerr's decision to hold veteran players more accountable for mistakes this season. Curry noted that film sessions were previously awkward when the coaching staff glossed over turnovers committed by him and Draymond Green while holding younger players accountable. Curry endorsed the change, acknowledging the team needs to limit errors to remain competitive.

The shift comes amid several roster challenges for Golden State, including Kristaps Porzingis being ruled out indefinitely. With Porzingis sidelined, Green is expected to start at center, while Kerr is considering starting rookie Yaxel Lendeborg on opening night. Joey Haverford writes that the Warriors will no longer operate with unequal accountability as they navigate injuries.
