Valkyries Gabby Williams, Veronica Burton, and Kiah Stokes named to WNBA All-Defense teams

Golden State Valkyries players Gabby Williams, Veronica Burton, and Kiah Stokes have been selected to the WNBA All-Defense teams. Williams secured a spot on the first team, marking her third career All-Defense honor, while Burton and Stokes were both named to the second team. The recognitions follow a dominant defensive season where Golden State led the league with a 99.1 defensive rating.

The Valkyries will face the Atlanta Dream in the WNBA Finals, who also placed three players on the All-Defense teams. Angel Reese and Rhyne Howard earned first-team honors for Atlanta, while Jordin Canada made the second team. The remaining spots went to A'ja Wilson, Shakira Austin, Sonia Citron, and Breanna Stewart.
