The Golden State Warriors' hopes of trading Kristaps Porzingis just got easier after reports of what kind of buyout he'd be willing to take.

Trading Kristaps Porzingis could become significantly easier for the Golden State Warriors following rumors regarding his buyout preferences. Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints reported that the veteran center may accept a buyout as low as $3 million to $4 million. This willingness would offer rival teams an opportunity to shed more than $15 million in salary through a trade, particularly as Porzingis reportedly prepares for retirement.
Siegel anticipates a trade could occur before December 15, which would permit Golden State to re-aggregate incoming assets before the mid-season trade deadline. Peter O'Keefe of Blue Man Hoop notes that the Warriors have reportedly shown interest in Chicago Bulls big man Jalen Smith as a potential target.
