Grizzlies’ hot start has scouts eyeing playoff spot

The Memphis Grizzlies have emerged as an early surprise in the Western Conference, with NBA scouts and rival executives considering them a legitimate playoff contender. Memphis opened the campaign with six consecutive victories before dropping three straight games, sitting at a 6-3 record through nine contests.

Guard Ty Jerome leads the team with averages of 26.6 points and 5.3 assists per game. Young contributors Cameron Boozer, Cedric Coward, Zach Edey, and Jaylen Wells have also provided strong support, alongside favorable future assets including nine tradable first-round picks.
