Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton revealed he gained 25 pounds of muscle during his recovery from a ruptured Achilles tendon. Speaking on The Pat McAfee Show, Haliburton noted that while officially listed at 185 pounds, he plans to play the 2026-27 NBA season at roughly 200 pounds following his extended rehabilitation.
Haliburton sustained the injury during Game 7 of the 2025 NBA Finals, forcing him to miss the entire 2025-26 season. He returned to action after 472 days on Wednesday, recording seven points and six assists in 16 minutes during Indiana's 123-112 preseason win against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
