Two weeks into the 2026-27 NBA season, the early picture is beginning to look a little clearer.

Advait Jajodia outlines the top 10 teams in the NBA following Week 2 of the 2026-27 season. The undefeated Memphis Grizzlies headline the rankings with a 6-0 start, matching their franchise record behind strong performances from Ty Jerome and rookie Cameron Boozer. Other top-performing teams highlighted include the 6-1 Houston Rockets, who are led by Kevin Durant, and the 6-1 Philadelphia 76ers, driven by Tyrese Maxey's scoring alongside Joel Embiid and LeBron James.
The Boston Celtics have rebounded from an opening loss to win five straight games behind Jayson Tatum's strong scoring run. Meanwhile, the Oklahoma City Thunder fell from the top spot after injuries to Chet Holmgren, Jalen Williams, and Cason Wallace contributed to consecutive defeats. The San Antonio Spurs, Los Angeles Lakers, Detroit Pistons, Portland Trail Blazers, and Denver Nuggets round out the top ten rankings following early momentum swings across both conferences.
