The Houston Rockets defeated the Dallas Mavericks 135-117 on Friday morning at The Venetian Arena in Macao, China. Houston took control early to build a 65-45 halftime lead in the preseason opener for both teams.
Tari Eason paced Houston with 20 points, while Alperen Sengun recorded a triple-double featuring 16 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists. Jabari Smith Jr. added 19 points, Fred VanVleet contributed 17 points, and Kevin Durant posted eight points in limited playing time.
