During the Houston Rockets' media day on Tuesday, center Steven Adams joked that the upcoming November release of the video game GTA VI will cause performances across major professional sports leagues to drop. Adams jokingly warned that player performance and coaching scout preparations across leagues like the NBA and NFL would plummet throughout November before bouncing back in December.

Adams also shared an update on his rehabilitation process after missing the second half of last season following ankle surgery sustained against the New Orleans Pelicans in January.
