The Atlanta Dream advanced to the WNBA Finals after completing a sweep of the New York Liberty with an 85-83 victory in Game 3. Angel Reese led Atlanta with 22 points and nine rebounds, while Rhyne Howard added 21 points and Jordin Canada contributed 19 points and 11 assists. Breanna Stewart and Jonquel Jones scored 26 points each for the Liberty, but late free throws from veteran DeWanna Bonner sealed the win for head coach Karl Smesko's side.

Bonner finished with a double-double of 13 points and 13 rebounds, having joined Atlanta after being bought out by the Phoenix Mercury. Australian rookie Isobel Borlase also provided a key bench spark with 10 points on 5-of-6 shooting while Allisha Gray remained sidelined. The victory earns Atlanta a matchup against the Golden State Valkyries in the WNBA Finals.
