Detroit Pistons forward John Collins and Phoenix Suns forward Dillon Brooks were involved in an altercation during Monday night's preseason game in Detroit. Less than five minutes into the opening exhibition contest for both teams, Collins grabbed Brooks around the neck before teammates stepped in to separate the two players.
The confrontation began when Brooks committed a hard foul against Collins while battling for a rebound. Following an exchange of words, Brooks was issued a technical foul, while Collins was assessed a flagrant foul for his actions.
