Chicago Bulls guard Josh Giddey and franchise icon Derrick Rose met at the PGA Tour's Presidents Cup at Medinah Country Club in Medinah, Illinois. Rose's business, Rose's Flower Shop, designed the floral bouquet displayed around the tournament trophy. The meeting connected two eras of the Chicago Bulls ahead of the golf competition, which began its first round on Thursday.
Rose, who earned NBA MVP honors with the Bulls in 2011, previously had his jersey retired by the franchise. Giddey enters his third season with Chicago after signing a four-year, $100 million contract in July 2025. The Bulls are scheduled to open their preseason schedule on October 7 against the Phoenix Suns.
